Brews, Blues, and BBQ's

Hard to believe that August is upon us, but as the summer winds down, what a better way to cap it off than a YPN get together. Cheney Stadium is hosting a summer series called Blues, Brews, and BBQ. On Friday, August 22 join YPN for an all you can eat Cajun feast. As you are chowin’ down enjoy the sounds of Junkyard Jane-- a great local Tacoma band. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and tickets include 1 complimentary adult beverage and parking. Dinner starts at 7pm and the show starts at 7:30.We will be doing an advance purchase option for $35 per ticket or you can purchase your ticket for $40 at the door. If you just want to hold off on dinner and join us for the concert tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Please rsvp by Wednesday, August 13 if you want your ticket purchased in advance. What is YPN all about?

Are you someone who is interested in being a member of YPN but you want to know more? Come to our prospective member informational meeting. We will have members of the leadership team there to answer any questions you may have. Also you will hear about the upcoming events and have an opportunity to sign-up to be on one of the planning committees.

Learn how we focus our events around three core principles: Leadership, Community, and Networking. During one calendar year you will see at least 3 events in each area. So one day we might be volunteering for a park clean up, the next having lunch with a community leader, or we might just relaxing after work at a local happy hour. No hidden agendas we just want you as Young Professional of Tacoma-Pierce County to grow, be engaged, and thrive.

This is also the opening night of the 6th avenue farmers market so there will be lots of energy and excitement around 6th avenue.

Cork Wine Bar is a brand new fabulous wine bar on 6th avenue and they are excited to host YPN. Arrive early so that you can take advantage of their happy hour that goes until 6pm.
