With the decision of joining the workforce or playing baseball another year, he continued to play and started working towards his M.B.A. in Marketing, and graduated early in the winter 2007.
Currently, Joe still has a love for baseball, but realized his true calling in 2013, helping people. He is a Commercial Lending Officer for US Bank, specializing in the purchase or refinance of properties that are Owner Occupied, Investment, Multi-Family, or SBA. He also has the ability to assist with startup or partner buyouts of a business and/or medical practice, and can also finance equipment large or small.
Early on, Joe learned from his parents' involvement in the community and selfless acts of giving, that it is vital to give back to the community, and have an active part in making the place you live, better. As Joe inserted himself in the Tacoma community and various organizations, he joined YPN in 2013, and has since been elected Networking Chair.
Outside of work, Joe can be found exercising at the Tacoma Center YMCA, golfing, playing corn hole, and exploring the beautiful PNW. He is also working on two fund-raisers to benefit (1) Veterans and (2) help feed the homeless.
In regards to YPN:
YPN has become a great balance of friends and business relationships, and as many young professionals continue to grow in their careers, Joe wants to fortify relationships with like minded individuals and become future leaders in the Puget Sound.
Joe's favorite part of YPN is that everyone is willing to give back to the community all while working with fellow members to buy a car, house or insurance, retirement planning, banking, and employment placement, to name a few, and in the end, know you are solidifying someone's career.
