As many of you may know, the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life is an annual, nationwide event, which brings communities together in support of the fight against cancer. This year, Team YPN is participating in Lakewood ’s Relay for Life!
If you know someone who has been affected by cancer, battled with it personally or lost a loved one to this disease, this is your chance to show your support and Relay! Team YPN has pledged $1,500 toward this cause, and we must meet or exceed our goal by June 6th!
Lakewood ’s Relay for Life will take place at Harry Lang Stadium adjacent to Clover Park High School from June 6th at 6:00 pm until June 7th at 12:00 noon! We will walk through the night, with team members alternating laps on the track for short intervals.
Team YPN will have a tent on the grounds, and while you aren’t walking, there will be plenty of opportunities to eat, socialize with other professionals, and enjoy live entertainment all night long. While we want everyone involved, the maximum size for a team is 15 people, therefore participation will be on a first come, first serve basis.
